Front Range Birding Company Open House/Art Sale

Mark your calendars, May 1, 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. I will be at the Front Range Birding Company Open House and Charity Drive. I will have a booth selling my bird art at reduced prices. Deb Jenkins will also be in the booth selling her art and sculptures. A percentage of the sales will go to the Front Range Birding Company and the Jason Dahl Charity and Greater Littleton Youth Initiative. Last year over 1,000 people were in attendance. Workshop with Tim Deibler-Color Temperatures

I attended a two day workshop at Abend Gallery with Artist Tim Deibler on Color Temperatures. All paintings were done with only the three primary colors of reds, blues and yellows. Each canvas was divided into 4, 6X8 squares and each painting was done with various primary colors in a period of 45 minutes.

The last painting of the mountain stream was painted upside down.

6th Annual Romancing The Arts Exhibit

My painting "Feeling Fallish" was judged into the 6th Annual Romancing The Arts Exhibit, Philip S. Miller Library, 100 S. Wilcox, Castle Rock. Reception Friday, Feb. 12th 6-8 p.m. The show opens Feb. 5 and runs through March 11, 2010. This will be my first time in the show, so hope you can make it. It will be for sale: Acrylic on canvas, 30" X 24", $350.

How About Them Apples?

New painting, 8 x 10 oil on canvas. When I showed it to my son, he said "How About Them Apples", thus the name of the painting.

Award --Painting Sold

I received an award for my painting "Cross Country Trail", in the Audubon Show. See a photo of the painting below.
