Terns and a Gull

I've completed an acrylic painting of terns and a gull from a photograph I took in Rockport, Texas, last year.   It is 22"x11" on wood panel. 

Landscape painting with Golden Eagle

I've finished a commission piece, acrylic, two 30" canvases to make a painting 60" by 24".  Titled "Golden".  It is the first painting I've done in over 6 months, due to moving to a new residence.  I now have a studio with lots of natural light and space.  I've also joined the Heritage Art Guild, so hope to do more painting.

Christmas Card Painting 2015

Each year I do a painting for my Christmas Card.  This year I had a photograph of a Mule Deer that I took while birding.  This is my painting from the photograph.  Acrylic on canvas, 9 X 12.  I like the large ears and big eyes.  "Miss Mule Deer".

Nature's Educators Birds of Prey Soiree

Nature's Educators Birds of Prey Soiree and Masquerade is Saturday, October 10, 2015, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Molly Brown Summer House, 2690 S. Mt. Moran from Oxbow Bend

I recently returned from a kayaking trip with the Rocky Mountain Sea Kayak Club to the Tetons.

We paddled Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake, String and Leigh Lakes.  But, my favorite was paddling the Snake River.  This is an ink drawing of Mt. Moran from Oxbow Bend. 

I finally did some quick pastel sketches of Nature's Educators raptors.  All on paper, 16x20.
