These are four quick sketches/paintings (4"x8") of the scenes at Cook Park. The sketches were done to look for shapes and values (lights and darks).

- As you can tell from my website, my favorite subject is birds. I also enjoy painting landscapes and florals. Sometimes I venture into abstracts. I am an outdoor person so you will find me hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking and camping in Colorado. A lot of my art is from photographs I have taken while enjoying Colorado outdoors.
