Prairie Sunset

Can't believe it's been three months since I posted anything.  I have started a painting of a sunset scene.  I took some photos at Pawnee Buttes on an archaeology survey I did with History Colorado.  In the painting I combined a sunset photo and a photo of some cattle and a windmill.  The progression  shows the start with the clouds, then added darker clouds, the sunset and then the windmill.  Still working on the cattle in the foreground.
